HOW IT WORKS
Conflict Analysis is built on three experiential modules:
THE RELATIONAL MODALITY EVALUATION SCALE
Personality is a vague concept. It is hard to imagine that anyone fits totally into any grouping, especially something so all consuming as personality. So rather than focusing on personality, we instead focus on behavioral patterns, things like how we have fun and how we fight, how we relax, and how we listen. What we have found is that there tend to be certain patterns in how people live life.
People tend to either be more or less socially dominant, what we call Dominance and Submissiveness. They also tend to be either more or less socially cooperative, what we call Cooperative and Antagonistic. The Relational Modality Evaluation Scale (RMES) helps quantify where you fall within these continuums, guiding you to identify your behavioral patterns.
THE METAPHOR TASKS
The Metaphor Tasks are a series of creativity and narrative-based tasks that request you to create drawings and write stories about the drawings, noting the surrounding events, and interpreting the key conflictual themes. The Metaphor Tasks begin ambiguously, allowing you to feel comfortable exploring topics that might otherwise be difficult to address, before becoming gradually more targeted, facilitating reflection through self-analysis. All of the tasks conclude with a series of guided essay questions addressing the conflictual issues, how they have been resolved, and the story’s relevance.
PERSONALIZED FEEDBACK
Your responses and selection will be automatically populated in a detailed score report, providing immediate feedback about your patterns and your profile. This feedback is culled from your writing, drawings, and reflection. It can be useful to review this information privately or to review with a therapist or a friend.
